Hi! I’m Alexa! Music and Movement is an art that I have enjoyed and been passionate about since I was a little girl. Growing up competitively dancing taught me a lot about the effects that music and movement have on your body and overall well-being. My goal as an instructor is to help guide students towards what makes them feel good. I believe that the power of breath, movement, mindfulness, some good music, a good sweat, and a smile can help clear the mind and bring the body to a state of awareness. We often times get caught up in the hustle of life and I want to help guide you to create balance between work and play. I will lead you through creative flows that will get your energy flowing. My goal as part owner and founder of Aligned Movement is to create a space where you can come be yourself, heal, make connections, and have fun!
Hi, I’m Julian! My passion for movement began with dance. I was a competitive dancer for 13 years. Movement fueled my soul throughout my childhood. Entering my 20’s I got introduced to Heated HIIT Pilates. Heated HIIT Pilates made me feel alive, and I eventually decided to become a certified instructor. My goal as an instructor is to create a space where people can come let go and have a good time. As co-founder, my focus for Aligned Movement is for students and teachers to become more internally focused. It is easy to get caught up in our external selves, worrying about our image in the world. Showing up for you is the first step of that journey.

She will lead you through creative flows that align the body and soul while also making sure every student leaves with a smile on their face and a little more love in their heart. Yoga is your practice so stepping onto your mat and showing up for yourselves without any judgment is her goal - and to have fun, of course. I promise you won't leave this class without having a laugh, cause this bubbly teacher will be sure to get at least one out of you. Her mantra is "life is just not that serious" because well, we are all guilty of taking life a little too seriously. Come flow, relax, and release, but mainly come as you are. Jess completed her 200-hr certification at Troy City Yoga with Abbe Ciulla, where her practice evolved into a purpose-driven passion. Here, she gained a deep understanding of yoga philosophy and how it applies to our modern practice, forging a teaching style that’s inclusive and motivating.
Her perfect class? A sweaty, creative flow that incorporates fluid transitions, functional movements, and an unforgettable dharma talk.

My name is Meg! Growing up as a competitive dancer has taught me at a young age to appreciate movement. This love was always something I wanted to share with others. With this, I wanted to find more ways to move my body and decided to become an Outdoor Fitness Court ambassador and a certified Zumba instructor.
I fell in love with Hot HIIT Pilates, the first class I took. I left the class feeling motivated, inspired and wanting more. With this, I wanted to gain more knowledge and decided to become a certified instructor.
As an instructor, I hope to inspire the students and have them leave the class feeling excited, motivated, and confident.
