Please review our studio policies to help keep the Aligned experience consistent, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone.
We have a 4-hour cancellation policy for all class bookings.
Our cancellation policy helps us maintain accurate attendance, open available spots to waitlisted members, and ensure fair access to our classes.
We understand that life happens and appreciate your help in canceling as early as possible when you’re unable to attend.
We do our best to keep the Aligned Movement schedule consistent and reliable. However, in rare cases of instructor illness, emergencies, or other unexpected circumstances, a class may need to be canceled.
If Aligned Movement cancels a class within 2 hours of the scheduled start time:
The $10 courtesy credit may be used toward retail, beverages, workshops, or future class packs.
We will notify registered members as soon as possible through available communication channels, including email, text, and the Aligned Movement app.
We truly appreciate your patience and flexibility when these rare situations occur. 🤍
Auto-Renew Memberships require an initial 3-month commitment. After the commitment period has been completed, a 30-day cancellation notice is required.
To request a cancellation, please email support@alignedmovementonline.com.
Memberships cannot be canceled while paused. If you wish to cancel a paused membership, the membership must first be reactivated. One final membership payment will be processed before the account can be closed.
Any outstanding or failed payments must be resolved before a cancellation can be completed.
All membership pauses must:
For injury or medical circumstances, the 7-day notice requirement may be waived with appropriate medical documentation.
Pause Length
Extended Pauses
Pause requests exceeding the 3-month annual allowance require management approval and medical documentation.
Reactivating Your Membership
At the end of the scheduled pause, your membership will automatically reactivate and billing will resume.
If you would like to return before your scheduled reactivation date, please contact us to have your membership reactivated early.
Memberships cannot be canceled while paused. A paused membership must first be reactivated before a cancellation can be processed. (1 final payment is required due to our 30 day cancellation policy)
Members are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method on file and keeping their membership account in good standing.
A membership cannot be paused while there is a failed or past-due payment. Any outstanding balance must be resolved before a pause or membership change can be processed.
If a member wishes to pause before an upcoming payment, the pause must begin before the scheduled billing date. If the pause begins on or after the billing date, the scheduled payment will process and the pause will begin afterward.
Failed Payments
If a membership payment is unsuccessful, members have a 3-day grace period to update their payment method. During this period, the membership will remain active.
After the 3-day grace period:
When payment information is updated, all outstanding membership payments and balances will be collected.
Failed or past-due payments must be resolved before membership changes, pauses, or cancellations can be processed.
All membership purchases and payments are subject to Aligned Movement's cancellation, late cancellation, and no-show policies.
Memberships, class credits, account balances, promotional credits, and other purchases associated with a member account cannot be transferred to another member or account.
Account credits have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Membership payments and fees are non-refundable once processed, except where otherwise required by law or expressly approved by Aligned Movement management.
Phone use is not permitted during class.
If you would like to record during class, you must ask the instructor for permission before class begins and let them know if their voice or instruction will be shared or uploaded online.
If recording is approved:
*Instructor approval is required each time you wish to record*
We ask all members and guests to treat our studio, team, instructors, and fellow members with kindness and respect.
Behavior that is inappropriate, disruptive, disrespectful, unsafe, or makes others uncomfortable may be reviewed by management and may result in restrictions or membership revocation.
Aligned Movement reserves the right to address conduct that impacts the safety, comfort, or experience of our community.
Please plan to arrive before your scheduled class start time so you have enough time to check in and get settled.
When reception is present:
A 5-minute grace period is allowed after class begins. Once the 5-minute grace period has passed, no late entry will be permitted, and the applicable no-show fee or class credit forfeiture will apply.
When reception is not present:
Studio doors will be locked promptly at the scheduled class start time. Late entry will not be permitted once class has begun, and the applicable no-show fee or class credit forfeiture will apply.
For the safety of our members and to avoid disrupting class, instructors are unable to leave the studio room to open the door once class has started.
Aligned Movement is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misplaced personal belongings in the studio.
We maintain a Lost & Found for items left behind; however, it is cleared out regularly. Please make sure to collect all personal belongings before leaving the studio.
We recommend leaving valuable items at home whenever possible.
Members under the age of 18 must have a liability waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian before participating in class.
The waiver should be completed under the minor's name, with the parent or legal guardian providing and signing with their own information where required.
A completed waiver must be on file before the minor may participate in class.
Members should use studio equipment in accordance with the class format and instructor guidance.
For the safety of everyone in the room, instructors may ask members to modify or discontinue the use of equipment when necessary.
Members may switch from one class to another; however, switching classes does not override the 4-hour Late Cancellation Policy.
If you switch out of a class within the 4-hour cancellation window, the applicable $10 late cancellation fee or class credit forfeiture will still apply to the original reservation.
Booking another class does not waive any fees or penalties associated with the original booking.
Canceling a class and rebooking the same class or a different class does not waive applicable cancellation or no-show policies.
If you cancel within the 4-hour cancellation window and then rebook, the applicable $10 late cancellation fee or class credit forfeiture will still apply to the original reservation.
Rebooking does not reset the cancellation window or remove penalties associated with the original reservation.
Members are welcome to take multiple classes in the same day; however, there must be enough time between classes to fully complete one class before the next class begins.
Members may not book back-to-back classes when the first class's scheduled end time is the same as the next class's scheduled start time.
For example, if your first class ends at 6:00 PM, you may not book another class that begins at 6:00 PM.
This helps ensure members can fully participate in both classes without leaving early or entering the next class late.
By joining a class waitlist, you are indicating that you are available and prepared to attend the class if a spot becomes available.
Members may be automatically moved from the waitlist into class up until 2 hours before the scheduled class start time.
Once you are moved into class, your reservation is considered confirmed and all standard cancellation and no-show policies apply.
Because of this, please remove yourself from the waitlist as soon as possible if you are no longer available to attend.
Automatic waitlist entry stops 2 hours before class begins.
If a spot becomes available after that point, members remaining on the waitlist may receive a notification with the opportunity to claim the available spot.
You will not be considered booked unless you choose to claim the spot and receive confirmation that you have been added to class.
Once you claim the available spot, your booking is confirmed and all standard cancellation and no-show policies apply.
Members are responsible for keeping their contact information current and ensuring that applicable text and email notifications are enabled.
Not seeing or receiving a waitlist notification does not remove responsibility for a confirmed class reservation.
Active Auto-Renew Members receive one complimentary Plus One guest pass per month.
Members using a One Month Unlimited, Class Pack, Drop-In, or New Member Special do not receive a complimentary guest pass.
Friends and family are always welcome to join you! They must create their own Aligned Movement account, complete the required waiver, and purchase or use an eligible class option to book their class.
When you book a Plus One, their reservation is tied to your own. This means that all cancellation and no-show policies apply to both you and your guest. If your guest does not attend class, a no-show fee will still be charged. To avoid fees, you’ll need to cancel both your own and your guest’s reservation before the cancellation window closes
Members are responsible for making sure their guests are aware of and follow Aligned Movement's studio policies and etiquette while visiting. Guests are expected to treat our studio, team, instructors, and community with the same respect expected of all Aligned members.
